THE TREES OF UTILA

As I write this, the zanates are chirping away in the trees, as they do every evening around sunset. I'm on an island in the western half of the Caribbean. There is incredible scuba-diving here, one the second-longest barrier reef in the world. When you dive, you become part of another world. You float like a fish, and you feel like you are in an aquarium. The diversity of the marine life is stunning... go get WET!

If you read my previous update, you'll notice that it got cut off at the end. A computer glitch screwed things up in Puerto Cortes and I may have to retype the last few paragraphs again. Give me a few days. I haven't even had the chance to e-mail it out. Internet access is expensive here (US$10 an hour).

allrighty then, I gotta go... more news when I reach the mainland sometime early this week.
