Wow. Been a while, huh? With good reason.
I've cleared a major hurdle, I got rid of my apartment last week, which I
had leased until December 31st, 2002. Now that it's out of my name, I've got
NO KNOWN ADDRESS. :) Really, though, I'm shacking up at my buddy's place
until the end of summer and all of my worldly possessions are being stored
at the 'rents. I did this to save as much money as possible before I leave.
I've become incognito. I love it. The freedom is beautiful. No one has my
phone number and I can't access my e-mail because my computer's in a box.
The downside? Can't update the site as often... and nowhere to bring a late
date. :) Country Travel Reports specific to Canadians As you may have noticed, the main page offers the option to surf in Brasilian Portuguese. It's still a bit preliminary, but I'm getting there. All part of the effort to someday learn that language. Titles for the main menu were suggested by my friend Eduardo, who grew up in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. |
