No telephone, no address, no bed. For the last week I've been living in seclusion while I wait to leave for my work term in Colombia. My departure is scheduled for May 13th from Toronto. I was originally supposed to leave on the 29th, but I had to delay my flight due to work visa requirements. Anyways, it's actually a good thing. It's given me a lot of time to put some serious work into those papers I mentioned in my last update from this section of my site. That project finance paper on the water sector is turning into a completely different animal, but I think I've got it figured out now. I don't want to set a target date for finishing it, lest I jinx myself. But anyhow, I've been staying with my buddy Mick Discepola in downtown T.O. for the last few days and have been commuting back and forth to York's Scott Library. I get good work done there so it's worth it. The extra time in Canada will also give me a chance to head back to Montreal and see my folks. I really want to get a little time in with them before I leave, since they're getting on in age (no offense - Mom/Dad!!) - I love you both ... and will see you soon (hopefully by Mother's Day)!!
