Editor's Note: Exams finished just last week. Papers have been handed in. 8 months of MBA hell are coming to an end. We're ready to go abroad to enjoy our exchange programs, or travel a little before the internship starts. But ... We get an email from the IMBA office - all of a sudden we have an intensive class in IT & Operations Mgmt that we need to start immediately, the week after exams, for 6 hours a day, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Oh - and a 3 hour 602 workshop. Our commentators: Nina Drakul is one of the good-natured & cheerful IMBA '06 girls, Martin Bonert, our resident tech expert and 2005 class rep-elect. Nina: Is there a hotline you can call when you feel that somebody is raping your brain? Or is there anti-virus when the school attacks your human CPU and memory and racks the system? Martin: Hi, Nina. I'm a little pressed for time, but I can recommend the "software" you need to install to protect your mind from this virus called INTL6300. Unfortunately the software environment schulichXP is a little buggy, with only beta versions of 602 and other programs.
I would recommend regular
updates of the MS Alcohol, followed by a rare program (at least for
schulichXP) called Sleep. Unfortunately schulichXP has some problems with
the Sleep function.
