Just a quick update ... I'm in Washington, DC for the next three days for a great conference on infrastructure projects in Latin America. The consulting firm that's organising the event took me on as a volunteer. I'll be organising the private meetings between project companies and the investors, suppliers, and other interested parties. Tomorrow night's reception is at the Inter-American Development Bank! This should turn out to be a fantastic learning experience and will definitely be a great networking opportunity. Am staying with Nina Drakul's (IMBA '06) husband here. He's been a great host so far - it is great to see a friendly face in this (somewhat) intimidating city. Thanks so much Nina and Bojan! Off to bed now, early day tomorrow (6AM!!) - I don't expect to see much of the cherry blossoms while I'm here!
