Tomorrow I'm off to Miami for a hastily-arranged interview with a management consulting firm. My connections are responsible for this fantastic opportunity - thank you. It all happened so suddenly that I still can't believe it. I'm being assessed for an internship at one of their Latin American offices - all part of the iMBA. I've spent most of the weekend preparing for the case interview and Spanish-language interview and I'm very nervous. Friends of mine helped me prepare - Leo De Paula, Dave Chan, Paul Friesen, Fabiola Sicard, Bram Walters, Mick Discepola, Mark Van Wart - you guys ROCK. What with mid-terms this week and the pre-interview research workout, it's been hard to get a clear head. Feels kind of nice to put it out there like that. I know one thing - no matter the outcome of this interview, it will be a fantastic learning experience. A dose of humility maybe, a lesson in structured thinking, a view into the highly-competitive world of consulting. WHATEVER DOESN'T KILL ME ... ONLY MAKES ME STRONGER. Now, I only wish I could get these butterflies out of stomach!
