Dan is the man. He is one of those steadfast pals with whom it is cool to shoot the shit, play pool, drink beer, and just hang out and do squat. Aside from his terrible jokes (he's always got a new one every time I talk to him), I count him among my coolest buddies. We met when we worked together as busboys at the Bread & Bagel Factory on St. John's in Montreal's West Island (since gone belly up). That was back in summer of 1997 and I'm positive this is a friendship that will last for life. Just this past summer, he honoured me by asking me to be a groomsman at his wedding to Amy Abdallah. Dan, you will never know how much I appreciated the opportunity to be there on your big day (send me photos, alright??). Thank you bro... Hey, I hope the PATRIOTS were your team! Bonne fête, mon chum!
