Valerie's been a loyal friend to me since about September 2001 and I love her for her contagious smile, ready-to-party attitude, and for being REAL.  She is a dreamer and a romantic just like me but somehow manages to keep her head on a lot straighter than I can.  She's put up with hanging out at Peel Pub, listened to me blab about school, and we've definitely had a few nights where a few beer turned into a few more.  Unfortunately, we don't see each other or talk much 'cause we're in different cities now and both pretty busy, but I know I can always count on her.  Val - I'm telling the world - you're a cool cat and I'm always here for you!
