SOON: Posted personal letters describing my experience in Club Med
Photos
from the Soul Trip

In
1998 I worked for two months as a G.O. bartender at one of the coolest Club Med resorts.
|
In the Turks &
Caicos Islands, nestled in the heart of the Caribbean, lies Club Med
Turkoise, one of the wildest resorts that Club Med has to offer.

|
On this page you'll find a small selection of over 200 pictures I took while I was
there.

A beautiful shot of the ocean through the palm trees. This was taken on the
path between the main section of the resort and Sharkie's Beach Bar. Those
of you who know it, probably know it well.

What a set of pretty smiles and faces! L to R: Paulette Sopoci, Melanie Foxhoven, & Traci Myles. |
A late night at Sharkie's Beach Bar. These are three New York women I met
who are super-cool.
From L to R: Michelle Martinelli, Kim Malfitano, and Jodi Albanese.
Can anybody identify the G.O.?
Looks like this is the nightclub, the Kahuna. Counter-clockwise from left:
Stefanie (from Chicago), Ryan (G.O.), Jaemy Serrichio (G.O. from NY).
Who is the blonde girl in the background?
The most comfortable place to pass out in Turkoise. The hammock in the palm
trees beside Sharkie's.
That's me in the photo with two beauties from NY. On my right, in B&W,
that's Athena. My memory has escaped me, but I can't remember the name of
her friend on my left.
A crazy show-biz girl, sipping one of my concoctions at the Main Bar. This
is Laura Saltman.
The identification process is slow, but the girl in the leopard dress on my
left is Gillian (from Syracuse, NY). If you know any of the other girls,
please e-mail me!
I can only identify four of the GO's in this photo. From left, on the bench,
that's Joan Renaud (from Montreal); sitting on the ground, Julian Brosch
(from Toronto); I'm in the background, next to the dark-skinned girl in
white; standing up behind the pillar is Santiago Galan (from Mexico City).
Please get in touch if you know any of the others.
They trapped me in this position! What else could I do but grin and bear it?
This is an all-Canadian photo!
That's Traci behind me, and Paulette in front of me. This was taken just a
few days before I left Turkoise.
