You know that it's spring in Montreal when the streets are littered with potholes, people wear t-shirts at 5 degrees Celsius, and there's that oh-so-fresh smell of melting snow in the parks and green spaces around the city. What causes that odor?? hahaha... please, I don't want to know. I was cruising up a downtown street this afternoon, right near Phillips Square. I pulled a passing maneuver and sailed through a HUGE puddle of water. I swear to God, I totally didn't see the dude that was walking on the sidewalk. Only at the last minute. I sprayed him from H.E.A.D. to T.O.E. Would you believe he started to chase me? Like a bat out of hell! I've never seen anybody run so fast! I put the pedal to the floor and took the next corner. I wonder what he would have done had he managed to catch up to me.... Poor shmuck.
