Still in the state of Veracruz. I ran into two people from Montreal here, and two girls from France. The five of us are getting along great, et ça me donne l'opportunité de pratiquer mon français. Ça fait longtemps que je l'ai pas parler. J'aimerais pas l'oublier a cause que c'est sur qu'un jour je retourne a Montréal!! Photos are coming soon, still hunting for an Internet cafe that has Windows XP. Trying to get the update out. Mexico City is big and lots to write about. I've also been doing my financial forecast for the next two months... contemplating skipping the Yucatan Peninsula as well as the country of Belize and heading straight into Guatemala. Not too sure yet. I'll know more in a few days. I spent too much time and too much money in Mexico, but now I have seen the other side of North America, and I have seen it well. No regrets. Today is Hallowe'en, and Saturday is Día de los Muertos. This is a big holiday here. The parties will go on all weekend long. Glad I met up with some cool people with whom I can enjoy it. Tomorrow evening we are headed to the city of Oaxaca, a very traditional place, and probably one of the best places to be for this coming weekend. If I do go to Cancun, I will try to be there by the end of next week. |
